●Alexander Technique workshop:
The Alexander Technique is actually a very simple technique. We will visit the basic principles of F.M. Alexander’s discoveries and explore ways to find success and joy in our continued study of this work.
We will also explore tensegrity through various activities. Please bring activities of your interest.
This workshop is appropriate for current students as well as those who have never studied the Technique before!

●For Musicians: Deepening our Relationship to Sound
Debi will explore tensegrity and her “three-neck theory” as it relates to the performing musician. Our relationship to the music and to the audience is a part of the web of beauty and complexity that makes up our musical world. We can use these relationships to find support for our sound, support for our comfort as a performer and support for our audiences.
Please bring your instrument if you’re interested in working with your music. There is an upright piano in the studio.

●The Lily Pad: Finding Movement in Stillness――For the Alexander Technique Teachers:
Debi will explore movement in stillness as it related to teaching. Helping our students to get “unstuck” requires our unique sense of integrity, balance and connectedness. Through our explorations we will each connect to our own sense of stillness and strength in order to support our students in their own discoveries.
